Happy Thanksgiving!

Well, I have a turkey roast (not a full turkey, I admit) in the oven, potatoes are peeled, and a pie in the refrigerator. A creamy pumpkin pie, not a traditional one. As many of you may know, I am not a huge fan of traditional pumpkin pies, although I love pumpkin. So when I saw this recipe, I had to make it. It is soooo yummy! I sampled some of the filling already. It is made with Cool Whip, pumpkin (duh), and vanilla pudding. Yum. In a graham cracker crust. Yum Yum. Maddie is sleeping and I really hope that she will eat some of my (hopefully) yummy food. If all else fails, I am making mac & cheese too, so I know she will eat that. When she wakes up we are going to make Rice Krispie treats together. We are also having green beans, corn muffins, smushed apples & sweet potatoes, and dinner rolls. It will be a nice quiet holiday with just the 3 of us. Kinda weird not being around everyone this year, but we will see you guys on Christmas! :) Ahh, well, I have some more stuff to do while Madison is asleep, which won't be much longer probably. She has already been out for an hour and a half. Check back later! Kimberly
