I am a stay at home mom of a sweet little girl and her little baby brother! Madison was born in July 2004, and my life hasn't been the same ever since. I love staying home with her and Jonah and watching them change a little more with each day!

One month old!

I can't believe she is a month old already. In some ways it seems like she just got here, while at the same time it feels like she has always been a part of our lives. She has grown and changed so much already that I barely recognize her in her newborn pictures. She is smiling all the time and she finally sleeps at night! That's great news for Mom & Dad! I have to go back to work in 6.5 weeks and I'm dreading that day that I have to leave her at daycare. I wish so much that there were a way for me to afford staying home. I'm going to miss her so much every day. It is completely horrifying to me that she will be spending such a large chunk of every weekday being taken care of by relative strangers. I had better stop thinking about it too much or I will just completely depress myself. We still haven't tried to give her a bottle yet. I know that we have to do it ASAP or she may reject it completely. We had every intention of doing so this past weekend but I just can't bring myself to push the issue and Curtis was pretty busy. When I know she is hungry it is just so easy to take her and feed her myself. I love that time that I just get to sit and be close to Madison. It's like it is my thing with her that no one else can do. I actually think I will be a little sad to see Curtis giving her my milk in a bottle. It just doesn't seem right somehow. It has to be done though if I ever want to go anywhere without her for more than an hour at a time. Which I have to do at the dentist next week so I suppose we better get right on that so if she is hungry she doesn't give Grandma too much grief. :) I'll try to do it in the next day or two for your sake Grandma!
