Finally got one!

Huh!

Who knew toothpaste would take pencil marks off of a wooden table (and chair)? Apparently, the guys over at eHow, that's who! You learn something new every day! They joys of living with a 3 year old. We had Madison's 3 year checkup today and she is looking good. Well... except that she has been really sick for the last few days. She has been getting progressively worse and is now back on Albuterol breathing treatments and Prednisone. Whoopee. Anyway... she is up to 30.5 lbs and 36.5 inches. Gotta get those halves on there! Jonah's 2 month is coming up soon... can't wait to see how much he weighs. If he hadn't been knocked out cold this morning I would have plopped him onto the scale while we were there. Gotta go get an estimate on the car since some doofus ran into Curtis. Another big whoopee. Luckily he was alone... no kiddos in the car with him. It isn't really bad, but there is a nice dent in the door. K

It's Almost Time!

Madison starts preschool in 2 weeks! Ack! Then, the week after that she starts soccer. Weird.... I will officially be a soccer mom, hehe. Jonah is growing so fast! He smiles all the time now, but I haven't gotten a good one on camera yet. If I had taken this picture 2 seconds later I would have had a big smile, but instead I caught just the beginning of one. It's so weird to be a parent for a second time. I look at him differently. With Madison she was just a baby at this point. Now I look at him, knowing what it is like to have an older baby... toddler... preschooler. It's so weird to know that he will be that age someday. And to have at least some idea of what that will be like. Okie... I hear someone talking to Piglet, Pooh, and Eeyore, so I better go. I think he is yelling at them. Hehe. K

Newest Maddie-ism

Madison is so funny! I can't believe I almost forgot to add this... You know how babies use their own little "language"... well, seeing as Spanish is the only other language Madison is really familiar with thanks to Dora, Diego, and Sesame Street... she calls baby talk "baby Spanish." Hehe!

snort!

Jonah is my little piggy! It's so funny... when he gets really really mad and is screaming his head off (okay, so that part isn't so funny) he snorts like a little pig. It sure does add some humor to an otherwise stressful situation. He is grinning now, but I haven't gotten gotten any on camera. Probably because I haven't picked up my camera in about 2 weeks... hm. Guess I should take some pictures of my kids! They are growing so fast! I can't believe how big Jonah is getting... and my baby girl is getting ready to start preschool in less than a month! Eek! K

I have the sweetest kids!

Daddy isn't too shabby either... since he is in both of these way sweet pictures. A few days ago, Madison climbed up into Curtis's computer chair with him. That in itself was cute enough for a picture. But then she said, "Now it is like we are getting married, Daddy!" This picture was taken right after she said that, hence the big smile on Curtis's face! We were all cracking up about it, although I don't think Madison realized what was so funny. She was pretty serious about it! Too stinking cute! Here is Daddy giving Jonah his first bottle of pumped breastmilk. I just love how they are looking at each other. Jonah didn't seem to think it was weird at all to be getting the milk from Daddy! Too sweet! K
