I am a stay at home mom of a sweet little girl and her little baby brother! Madison was born in July 2004, and my life hasn't been the same ever since. I love staying home with her and Jonah and watching them change a little more with each day!

pottying

So how cute are they?

Pottying is still going very very well! She has been dry for several days now, except at night. I'm not too concerned about nighttime for now, though. I'm not even having to remind Madison to go. She runs up to me saying "I need to potty! Before I potty in my Pull Up!" She has picked it up so well, let's hope she stays with it this well.

We are looking at preschools for the fall. I was hoping to put her in a daycare part time for the summer so she could get used to it some before Jonah came, but I don't think we are going to be able to afford it. Part time daycare is a lot more expensive than preschool, which is expensive enough. She is excited about it though, and definitely ready!

I know the doctor says these braxton hicks contractions are normal, but holy cow! He is head down now, which really puts pressure on my cervix and the contractions are just getting hard to deal with! I had heard that it got worse with each pregnancy (I barely had any with Madison and they didn't hurt), but sheesh. Good thing this is my last pregnancy... if I didn't just jinx myself.

I'm going to go get ready for bed... update more later!

Awww! I love the snuggly pic! :)

Sorry your braxton hicks are so awful! :( I'm actually getting thankful that mine are starting to hurt a little...I'm hoping that means that something is happening since my doctor told me at my appointment this week that there's no change to my cervix. Aargh! All I wanted for Mother's Day was to see my son, and it looks like I'm going to have to wait. (Patience is not a strong point of mine right now!) I know he'll come out when he's ready. Until then, I'll just keep walking around like I have a bowling ball stuck between my legs. I'm there with you...that heaviness on the cervix is killer!

I love that Madison is doing so well with potty training! That should make it a bit easier when you're dealing with a newborn, too!
