I am a stay at home mom of a sweet little girl and her little baby brother! Madison was born in July 2004, and my life hasn't been the same ever since. I love staying home with her and Jonah and watching them change a little more with each day!

30 weeks!

and 3 days! Hehe... think I am counting? I'm still measuring right on target and my weight gain was right at 2 lbs in 2 weeks, which is perfect! You are supposed to gain a pound a week in your 2nd and 3rd trimesters, so I am good. At this rate, I will be just under what I weighed when I went into the hospital to have Madison. This appointment was in the afternoon (I usually go in the morning) and I had drank a 12 oz mug of coffee a couple of hours before, which I usually don't take the time to do when I have a morning appointment. Well, I guess it was really getting Jonah! LOL! His heart rate was 161 this time... 2 weeks ago it was only 140! Hey, the doctors say it is okay, though, it just got him jumping!

Now I have a doctor gripe though. Hehe... are you tired of my griping yet? My trusty GP, Dr. Crosby, has always checked before she prescribes me something to see if it is part of my insurance's formulary. I really appreciate this! If it isn't, she asks me if it is okay, or if I want something that won't be so pricey. Non-formulary, brand name medications are $40 with my insurance. I wish all doctors would be so considerate. Madison's doctor and my OB (at least the one I saw today, who had to write me a prescription for an unfortunate ill that has befallen me... nothing serious! ) do not show this same courtesy. So you are shocked to be handed your prescription and told that it is going to cost $40, when you were expecting it to be not near as much. I actually told them today that I would have to come back. AKA... I will be looking for over the counter relief that hopefully will not cost nearly as much. Hehe. Seriously... $40 for something I will be taking once?!?! Seems a little ridiculous to me! I also have a call into Madison's doctor to switch her allergy medicine to the OTC Claritin from Zyrtec. Again... I wasn't warned and when I picked up her first month of Zyrtec found that it cost me $40 for a 30 day supply. I know I'm not exactly poor, but I am on a tight budget and I cannot swing an extra $40 a month if Claritin will work as well. Now... if only they would call me back sometime in the next, I don't know, year or so. Ugh. I love her doctor, but it is impossible to get a call back from them!

Okay, I'm done griping now. Back to your regularly programmed happy pregnant lady!
<------ This could pretty much apply to everyday right now, hehe. Nice to know, huh?

Wow! I keep forgetting that you're really not that far behind me...I'll be 38 weeks on Saturday! The time really flies!

It's good to hear that you're doing so well! I can't wait to see what he looks like! Madison is going to be such a great big sister! :)
