I hate trying to come up with titles. So, last Tuesday was Curtis's birthday and Madison had a ball! We didn't really do anything... just had McDonald's and chocolate cake at home. Yum! Perfect for our dysfunctional little family, lol! Seriously, though, Madison worked on learning the Happy Birthday song all day long and she sang it perfectly! I can't wait until next month when she sings it to me. :) I'm working on a list of Maddie-isms to put on here, but my mind went totally blank as soon as I started it! So right now there are only 3 things on there. I had a brainful of stuff to put on the list until I actually sat down on the computer to do it. Figures, huh? Okay, so we had our big winter snow... is it Spring yet? I wanna see some flowers! Aaah, much better! K

Isn't he cute?? Hehe! Maddie thought it was so great getting to see the baby in my belly. Although we are 99% certain that he will be named Jonah Michael, she says she will call him "Big Truck." Okay. LOL! K

Oh... to give you a comparison, kinda...

I took this one last week (Feb 6th) when we had, what, 5 or 6 inches of snow? So as you see, those borders you see around the trees in this photo are completely buried now! Sorry I don't have any photos of the backyard without snow... hehe.

So far...

I just took these photos of my backyard 5 minutes ago. Yes, I took them through the glass, so you can see the reflection of the lights in the house. :) I know those of you in Hartford City and Logansport surely have even more than we have right now... and it is still falling! The wind is blowing too hard for it to stay on the trees... too bad, I always think that is pretty when the evergreens have snow sitting on them! I'm not sure how much longer it is supposed to keep snowing.

According to BMH's website, you have to be 3 to take a sibling class! How crappy is that? The one I wanted to sign up for is on June 28th and Madison won't be 3 until July 18th. Do you think they would make an exception since she will only be a few weeks from her 3rd birthday? I would really like her to go. I guess I could just call and ask... it just seems she gets left out of all the cool stuff. For example... she is quite interested in the dentist. Well, it just so happens that the Anderson library is having a special dental thing for little kids at the end of this month. Well... Madison can't go, because she isn't going to be 3. What crap! I thought that would be great as it hopefully wouldn't be as intimidating as going to the actual dentist office would be. Bah. It isn't that I want her to grow up so fast, it's just frustrating when she can't do things that I know would be good for her. She is so grown up seeming for her age... maybe that is just me being a mommy, though. I'm sure she could handle it! Just a few more days until the big u/s!!

I'm so embarassed...

Hehe... it has been almost a month since I posted anything! Oops! I'm not really embarassed, though... I've just been busy! My sickies are down to only a couple of times a week. Yay! Madison is a big bundle of energy/terror. Not so yay! No, I love her to pieces... she just wears me out! She is getting so stinking smart. She is learning new letters everyday. We are so happy that the library story times are back! It was a long 2 month break over the holidays. It was nice, as I was sick and wouldn't have felt much like going, but I would have taken her anyway. Instead, we just didn't get to the library nearly as often as she was used to. Poor little thing. :( She got a ring from a boy at the grocery store! Ooooooh! Hehe! He got it out of a machine and didn't want it as it was too girly, so he gave it to Madison. How sweet. She is so ready for this baby... I wonder if she will change her mind once it is here. LOL. She keeps saying that it will be out in a couple of weeks. Uh... sure... I guess. She is also convinced that it is a girl. We will find out next Friday (the 16th) as long as the little guy (or girl) cooperates. I hope if it is a boy we can convince her that boys are fun too. We finally got some real snow! Woohoo! It's about stinking time! Now we just need to go play in it! :) Okie... well, here are a couple of more recent pictures of the little girl... I also put some layouts up on my digi blog if you wanna see them. I'm behind on putting my layouts on there, so I will probably be putting some more up in the next few days until I am all caught up over there! Right now someone kinda stinks... so I guess I better go fix that! :)
