Just so you know...

I've been pretty sick and haven't wanted to hang out in front of the computer. When I am feeling better, I promise to update! I have written a little on paper that I will transfer to the computer when I feel up to it. K

Surprise!

So, wanna know why I was so sick last week? It got worse through the weekend, so the pity party continued...

Ugh.

I hate being sick. I am so nasty nauseous. You know, when you are praying to just vomit and get it over with? Ugh. I couldn't do anything at all today except cuddle up on the couch with a blanket. Which totally sucks because it was like 70 degrees here and I could have been outside! The times I did have to get up (I am after all, still a mommy... no sick days from that!), it just about took every ounce of energy I had to make it back to the couch. Woe is me.... okay, pity party is over. Unless, of course, I don't feel any better tomorrow! We did however make it to the park yesterday, so the great weather wasn't totally wasted on me. Although I didn't feel fabulous yesterday either, but was a bit better than today. Madison had fun though! She was a regular monkey climbing around on all the equipment!

Curtis & Madison's New Obsession

Okay, so Curtis found something on YouTube the other day and has become fully obsessed with it! Some of you may have seen it, I don't know. It is quite amusing. Now Madison is just as, if not more, obsessed with it than her daddy is! You just have to see it for yourself. Hehe. We each have different favorite versions, so I will share them all with you. That's my photo for today! Last night Madison was making her purple lion roar at the camera... This is the best one I got, though, as she kept getting closer and closer and they started getting kinda blurry! LOL! K

Treasure Chest

To add to the list of fabulously cute things Madison says... I was teaching her the names of each of her fingers ala "Where Is Thumbkin?", and she started moving onto other body parts. Well, up until now her entire torso has been her tummy. So when she pointed to her chest and said it was her tummy, the coversation went like this: Mommy: That's not your tummy! Madison: It is! Mommy: No, that is your chest! Madison (face lit up like a Christmas tree!): My chest? Is there treasure in there????? Oh. My. Gosh. I just about lost it. That was the greatest thing ever, LOL! That's all I really wanted to say. Bye now! K

My New Blog!!

This is my first post on my new blog! I will still be posting over on 360 for now, but mostly will be doing the copy/paste thing over there. I like the freedom I have over here to do more with my page. I have a scrapbooking blog, which has laid (grammar?) dormant since we moved, but I will start posting over there again regularly. I will be putting my scrappy pages over there and just post photos over here. That way if all you want to see is a picture, then that is all you will have to see! Let's get on with the blogging!! K

The Moon

"Look Mommy! The Moon turned his light on and it's not dark yet!" Hehe, how cute is that? Madison said that the other day when the moon came out during the daytime. K

Ms. Thornton.....

I think Madison wants to be a teacher when she grows up... she was so cute at storytime today! She sat right up next to Miss Christy while she did the songs and finger plays and "helped" lead the group. It was very cute! She is quite sad to see the Big Giant Kitty Cat (a ginormous Halloween decoration that we had to go visit many times a week) at WalMart go byebye. We told her that he went home, but she keeps asking about him. I'm sure she will find something to get attached to for Christmas and she can visit it for the next 2 months. Okay, well, sorry for the short post... it's better than nothing, right? Hehe. I've got stuff to do while Miss Madison is asleep! K

Trick or Treat!

Sorry... I just have a lot of things to do on and off the computer and haven't been motivated to find the time to update often... Keep in mind that I don't get as much random here and there computer time as I did at the apartment because my computer is off in a separate room instead of being right there in the center of all the action! That makes a huge difference as far as how much time I spend on here! Anyway... trick or treating was a blast! Maddie had tons of fun and made some new friends in the neighborhood. By the time we were halfway through she had passed her bucket on to us as it was awfully heavy. It was kinda cold (brrrrrrr) so Uniqua had to wear a coat, but thanks to the hat, her head stayed warm! Oh, and Kelli (S), when you read this, "BAH!" Now I have to go check MySpace regularly to keep up with you. Urgh. Hehe... K
