I'm not wearing any pants!
I'm wearing legs! This is what Madison said earlier today in the car when she looked down at her skirt. LOL! Then later this evening I was pushing her in her stroller while I tried to burn a few calories ![]() Kimberly |
I am a stay at home mom of a sweet little girl and her little baby brother! Madison was born in July 2004, and my life hasn't been the same ever since. I love staying home with her and Jonah and watching them change a little more with each day!

We are back from storytime and Maddie is watching her newest checked out movie... SuperBabies! It's a Dora DVD. Very cute. She was very "stylish" today, as the animal of the day was the elephant, and she was wearing her elephant tee. Woohoo! She made a very cool and colorful jungle as the art project. If my scanner were hooked up I would let you see it, but since it isn't... well, sorry! ![]() Well, I am off, just wanted to check in really quick! K |
I can't believe Madison is almost 2!! She is so excited about her birthday too. It's very funny. She talks about it all the time. Last week at Walmart she saw some toy she wanted and asked to have it. I told her we couldn't buy any toys today, so she asked "Have it my birthday?" I told her I didn't know... maybe. Her response... "I will close my eyes." How weird is that? How would she know to close her eyes so I could get it for her without her knowing? She of course then squinted her eyes closed so I could get the toy. I didn't, but it was so cute! She gets smarter every day! It's nuts... she will say things that I didn't even realize she knew. Today Diego was on the tv and he was on a skateboard and she said, "See Diego on tv! Diego skating!" I had no idea that she even knew what skating was. Weird! Her new favorite activity is swimming in the pool. She will go up to the back door and grab her "water shoes" and her "water hat" and try to go out to go swimming. She begs me "change clothes Mommy! I go swimming!" I got her some aquasock shoes to wear at the Water Bowl since there are quite a few rocks in the sand, and now she has to wear them whenever she goes swimming. I actually think I am going to get some for myself next time we go to the Water Bowl... my feet hurt for a full day afterwards last time! And she has to wear a swimming hat or her head gets sunburned on her part. Even if I put sunscreen on her head like her doctor said to do. Then it peels and it looks like she has dandruff... it's just easier to have her wear a baby hat. We got a Speedo one that is uv protected. It's pretty cool. Well, I got some stuff to do around here while Maddie naps. Check back later! K |
