Oh. My. Gosh.
Who knew...
| ... I had such restraint! I just jumped out of my seat without screaming! If anyone reading this has ever watched basketball with me, you know how big of a deal that is! :) Go IU!! 3.3 seconds and you are on! |

Farm Fest
We went to the farm fest in Muncie this afternoon. Madison had loads of fun! I felt like such a goob though, because I thought the goats were sheep. Duh. They said lots of people asked the same question, but still.... We got to pet cows , sheep, rabbits, pigs , baby ducks, and goats. Maddie wouldn't pet the horses or donkey. She wanted to pet the chickens but I was afraid they would peck her fingers off! I couldn't believe that she would pet the ginormous cows, but wouldn't get too close to the horses. One put it's face right in hers and I thought she was going to cry. She started screaming "I sorry! I sorry! I sorry!" |

Go Hoosiers!
Yay! They got a #6 seed, which I am happy about, but they will face Gonzaga (most defnitely) in the 2nd round. Yipes! You know how excited I was that Miss Madison counted to 4 the other day? Well she counts to eleven now. K |

*sniff*
I'm so sad... the IU game was heartbreaking! They played an awesome game, though... it came down to whichever team just happened to have the lead when the clock ran out. Unfortunately, it wasn't IU. ![]() |

Happy Anniversary to me!
Okay, so it is past midnight... so technically my anny was yesterday. But I forgot to post yesterday. Oh well. Big girl Maddie counted to 4 all by herself today! Woohoo! She is such a smartypants. She still tries really hard with her colors, but I think when she gets them right it is an accident. She knows them all, just not to the correct hue necessarily. HEY! It is past midnight!!!! I wonder if anyone would think poorly of me if I dragged my baby to Walmart right now to go pick up the Harry Potter DVD? Hmmmm...... okay, fine, I will wait until tomorrow. Argh. Bye. K |

Oh, sorry... okay. Madison got a little Pablo toy (from the Backyardigans) and I thought there might be a riot, since Audrey wanted it too. There was only one Pablo. But, the only riot that occured was when I took it away from Madison to let the clerk scan it in. Ack! Haven't I learned? Always just rip the tag off and hand that to the clerk so as not to upset the child! But, so, okay. Madison tried to get Audrey to race her on her ride-on toys, and I think Audrey thought she was crazy. This girl is a racing machine! LOL!
Yeah, I'm talking about you, Pops. Haha! I am in a very strange mood right now. So sorry. Not really, though. For my birthday, I got to order my own pizza (are you kidding... Curtis would never get it right!) I did let him go pick it up, though. LOL! Then I got to make my own cake... ditto not letting Curtis touch it. I can't imagine him cracking an egg open. I should have let him do it just so I could have seen him crack an egg. Hehe. He doesn't read my blog and I promised him that I don't make fun of him on here... which I generally don't. But again... I am in a mood. If this post suddenly disappears, it is because he read it and was displeased. The pizza was yummy... I hadn't eaten Pizza King pizza since moving to Anderson, which is really dumb as there is one just down the road. What a weirdo I am. The cake and ice cream were really yummy too. Then... and this was my favorite part of the day... I got to wash my own dishes! LOL! Really... I'm not good at delegating certain tasks. Some things just have to be done a certain way, and I don't trust anyone else to do them right. So while it might sound like I am throwing myself a pity party... I am not! I would not have allowed Curtis to do any of those things! I will let him order pizza if we are only getting cheese pizza... but if I told him to order a Royal Feast, he would have made me repeat it a gazillion times before he was sure he had it right. It really is easier to do it myself. I believe that is part of being a man. They do that on purpose. Actually, I believe Mike Wolfe even told me once that men do that on purpose, so there is no use denying it! Because, of course, Mike Wolfe is the epitome of what it means to be a man. HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

She learns way too fast. Now if only she would hold the hand of another child, we could all play ring around the rosy. Was that random enough for you? It refers to the fact that she wouldn't hold the hands of other children today at church, so she had to sit and pout while Mommy played with the other kids. Ah well... what can you do?
