Shapes!

Madison knows circles! Image Her first shape was stars, then she knew hearts. Today I drew a circle and asked what it was and she said "siccle" Yay! Such a smart girl. That's all. Image

Wigglin' at the Library for Daddy's Birthday!

Awww, Madison is sooo cute! Haha. We celebrated Curtis's birthday last night since he was sick on his birthday and she colored pictures and picked out balloons for him. She chose a football, Darth Vader, and JoJo. Interesting combination. The lady at Factory Card Outlet thought we were nuts, I'm sure.

She is officially a Wiggles nut if she wasn't already. She can sing Where's Jeff, complete with the "ya ya ya ya" that Murray does. She also sings Hot Potato. Now she has been doing the dances for awhile now, but she actually sings Hot Potato now. It's funny! And of course if you laugh at her, she will laugh and say "I funny!"

We had super fun at the library this morning. Madison was wearing a t-shirt that says Little Star, so when we sang Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, she got to be the star. It was pretty cute... she was sooo proud when Miss Toni pointed out her shirt and said that we had our own little star today. She stood in the middle of the rug and twirled around for everyone to see. It was all fun until she turned herself around about 12 times too many during the hokey pokey and fell down bonking her head on another girl's shoe. Ouch! She cried until it was craft time. Then it was all better and she went sticker and marker craaaazy!

Quick update on Madison

Justn a note to let everyone know how the Madster is doing. She is feeling lots better... she gave her pukies to Daddy. She still has some Big D, but not quite as bad most of the time. I will be so happy when I don't have anymore poopy/pukie laundry to do. Blech!

The picture above is from Madison's first toddler storytime. I think she is quite the artist! Image

Poor Baby!

Lil Miss Madison is a sicky. Curtis even had her saying "I'm siiick." Cute, but sad. No sooner did we get home last night after a super-dee-dooper fun day with Grandma P., Aunt Kelli, and Audrey than she started hurling her chicken and fries all over Curtis and me. Oh yeah, and the snickers swirl custard. Bleh. Then, on top of that, early early early this morning she added some Big D to the mix. She hasn't been able to keep much of anything down all night, and she has a fever that is coming and going. It doesn't feel too bad so I haven't taken her temp, but I can feel her body get hot for a few hours then it will go back to normal. I am washing all the laundry... there is tons of it, and Madison is sleeping peacefully on the couch right now. When she finally woke up for good this morning just before noon, she really seemed to be feeling tons better. She hasn't thrown up since then, but she won't eat anything either. She took one little bite of yogurt, but that was all. She is drinking water, though, so that is good. She has had diarrhea, though, so she isn't all better. And she ran to me saying "I sick Mommy! I sorry." and then she fell asleep soon after. I guess we will see how she is after her nap.

I hope you don't get sicky too Audrey!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Just so no one thinks I am shirking my blogly duties, I can't inform you of the V-day party because we didn't have it. Yet. It is rescheduled for Thursday because one of the girl's was sicky. Image Poor girl.

I have to tell you what Madison's new favorite word is, though... Dude! Haha! She says Duuuude, and then she giggles. It's so funny!

Okay... must go... check back later!

Blastoff!

Not much going on around here. Tomorrow we are going to a Valentine's Day party. Yay! Maddie picked out her own valentines. She chose the puppy Clifford ones, which I found somewhat strange. They had The Wiggles, Dora, Koala Brothers, and Cookie Monster, to name a few. She has watched Clifford only a handful of times... but she was insistent that she wanted the puppy ones. So that is what we got!

Maddie is actually watching her Little Einsteins movie in those photos. She is patting in the bottom photo although you can't really tell. I love that blastoff photo! It cracks me up! The real lyrics are at the top, but she sings "lala buggy" when she sees it. Too cute!

Okie-day... I will check back later. Maybe I will remember to post and tell you readers of mine how the party was. :)

Hiya hiya!

Last Friday I took Madison to the Children's Museum in Muncie. It was free day! We had lots of fun! She loved the water exhibit and went back to it 3 times, but it was pretty busy with bigger kids, so I wasn't as thrilled with it. LOL. I was afraid she was going to get trampled! It was pretty cool overall though, even though it was busy. Probably because it was free day.

The weekend was, ofcourse, the SuperBowl. Surprisingly, to me, Maddie wasn't all that interested. All morning she talked about watching bootball, but once the game started she couldn't have cared less. Must have been the lack of blue jerseys. Image We'll have to watch the boys in the ProBowl this weekend. Edge's last time as a Colt. *sniff* We'll miss him, but it will be okay.

On the subject of sports... Hello Peja!! I am loving him! If only the whole team could get its act together 100%, we might be able to make at least a small splash in the playoffs. IF J.O. gets back.

We (meaning Maddie Image) graduated to Toddler storytime today. Whew! That was nuts! Toddlers are *slightly* more rambunctious than babies. It was fun though, which is most important. Madison had a blast. She learned to do watercolor paints and markers. She made a pretty pretty picture. I will have her do a valentine's picture and I will scan it for you all to see. She loves to color. Especially on the t.v. Image

I will check back later!
