Of course, Madison is doing great! She weighed in at 20lbs 12oz, and is 28 inches tall. (That means she is short and chubby, lol) She cried her little head off from the shots, naturally, but was consoled when the nurse gave her a book to take home with her. Her head bump is still around, but the doc said it he isn't concerned about it. It's just a large lymph node. She is very clearly saying "yellow" now. She used to say "yow" but now she actually says "yellow." Of course, she thinks that all colors are yellow, but how much can you really expect? :) If we say any other color, or ask what color something is, it is always "yellow!" Yesterday we went to the water park in Middletown, but I forgot the camera, so no pictures! I forgot her ball too (shouldn't I have learned by now?) so she had to "borrow" from other kids. Which was mostly okay, but there was one boy whose mom had let Maddie have his ball and he got upset and pouty, so we gave it back to him. It was his ball after all. She had lots of fun, and I will try to remember her ball from now on! We got approved for the apartment in Anderson and our move-in date is set for Oct 1st. I like living in the house, but this one is infested with nasty ugly spiders from mid-August through early October and I am freaking out over here as they are starting to appear again. I'm such a weenie! I'm scared getting dressed, putting on my shoes, going to the bathroom, taking a shower, going to bed, etc. Pretty much all the time basically. Every little dark spot on the wall or floor makes me jump 10 feet. Don't get me started on floating dog hair... yikes! Kimberly |
