We are so sad that the Pacer's took a beating on their own court tonight. :( I figure it is because they want to win the series at home. ;) I better get to bed. Kimberly |
I am a stay at home mom of a sweet little girl and her little baby brother! Madison was born in July 2004, and my life hasn't been the same ever since. I love staying home with her and Jonah and watching them change a little more with each day!

We practiced standing today during one of her "happy" times. It was pretty funny. She would stand for a couple of seconds and throw herself forward so I would catch her. She was giggling so hard. I know she could stand longer, but she was having too much fun making me catch her. She loves to walk around holding my hands. She doesn't quite get her Gobble N Go Hippo, though. She will walk all over with it if you push it for her. But she doesn't understand that she can push it herself. She gets mad when it doesn't "go." She has discovered her tongue. I keep thinking she has something in her mouth, but she is just curling up her tongue and chewing on it. And she can blow raspberries on my tummy. I hate that! It tickles so bad, and she keeps doing it because it makes me laugh! Kimberly |
We went to Indy yesterday and I was finally able to get my Hip Hammock. Yay! It's my birthday present, lol. I couldn't find one in We need to make an appointment for It's getting pretty late. *yawn* I suppose I should head off to bed. Check back later! Kimberly |
Lol, that is what Kristi called her last night and I thought it was funny. She does like to climb anything she can. I think she would climb the walls if she could! I had to put most of her toys in a shorter plastic tub instead of the Care Bears hamper they were in before. She kept climbing on the Care Bears hamper and it would fall down on top of her because it wasn't sturdy enough to hold her weight. So now she can climb on her toybox and dig through the toys to find exactly what she wants. She is still too short to reach the bottom, but give her time. She is growing so fast, she will be taller than me before I know it! I swear her feet jumped 2 sizes overnight. She could wear newborn shoes at 6 months, and now she is almost in size 4's. I had to go buy a bunch of new socks because they were all too small all of a sudden. She's still my little squirt, though. When she was sick at the doctors she was only 17 lbs. We go for her well baby checkup Monday morning, so we will see what she is when she is nakie. And I am curious to see how tall she is now. She seems like she is so much taller than she was at her last one. Note to Grandma... I have been mostly lazy this morning and really need to take a shower. Preferably before Kimberly |
It finally popped through! I figured it had, as she didn't sleep real well last night. Kimberly |
We're doing all better around here, but now We got We have Gingerbread Babies at the library in the morning, so if Veronica will shut her trap I might be able to get Kimberly |
The fever is gone, and Grandma Perry had surgery this week on her knee, and we are glad she won't be working for awhile. ;) It's great to go visit anytime! Kimberly |
We have a full fledged sickie on our hands. Right now I am STARVING on the couch, but she won't let me put her to bed, so I guess I'll have lunch later. The worst part is that I am sick too, and she wakes up every time I cough. She has had a fever over 102 for two days. It got up to 102.8 last night which was the highest I have seen it. It was 102.4 this morning. Poor thing has never been sick before, and is miserable. :( Kimberly |
