Tooth picture!

Oops! Tomorrow... next week... what's the difference really? :)

Easter was a lot of fun. We went to Grandma and Grandpa's church and had dinner at Granny's. Madison has a full fledged case of stranger/separation anxiety right now, so she wanted to be with Mommy the whole time. She cried with Aunt Kristi. :( After we got back home we did her Easter basket. She got 2 onesies, a spring outfit, some snacks, a big stuffed Easter bunny, and a Fisher Price puppy that sings songs and stuff. All in a cute stuffed duckie basket. Okay, well, the bunny and the puppy weren't in the basket. She loved all of it! Especially the puppy... he is lots and lots of fun. She's getting better and better at cruising all over the place and trying to walk with her Gobble n Go Hippo. This girl will be walking all by herself too soon for me! I think it will still be a couple of months *crossing fingers* but that is still too soon as far as I am concerned!

We had a fun fashion show last week with her summer clothes from Audrey. I think I had more fun than she did, though. She started crying when she decided I had changed her clothes enough times. She got over it pretty quickly, though. While she was crying I was able to get a picture that showed her tooth! It wasn't all bad, then. :) Of course, I had to jump right on the computer and scrap it!

Hehe. Her little tooth is so cute!

Her new favorite thing to do is ride around the house in a laundry basket. It's really funny, but she threw a fit a couple of days ago when Curtis took her out. She was having an especially clingy day, though, and she hasn't done it since then.

Tomorrow she gets to spend the whole evening with Daddy while I go to a Pacers game. Go Pacers! I'm sure they will have lots and lots of fun. I hope he can get her to eat, though. Last time he tried to give her a bottle it was a catastrophe and she cried until I got home. :( I hope it doesn't happen again!

I know it is supposed to storm tonight, but hopefully this nice weather comes back soon after! We took a long walk today, and it was so nice to get out and get some fresh air after a winter cooped up in the house.

I suppose I had better go feed the dog... catch ya later!

Pictures from yesterday's Easter egg hunt

A couple of the other ladies had cameras yesterday, so I wanted to share some pictures of Madison. She had so much fun!

This morning we went to Gingerbread Babies again. There were lots more kids there than last week. Madison had a blast of course! :)

Easter egg hunt!

We did end up going to playgroup this morning, and we had an Easter egg hunt. She (kinda) got some eggs. It was a little cold outside, so she had to wear her mittens and couldn't really pick up the eggs with them on. As we were getting into the car, though, she was grabbing the eggs out of the basket. Unfortunately, she will not be eating any of the candy that is inside the eggs. That's for Mommy and Daddy! ;) She had a blast, though. There were several other children there, but she was the youngest. She loved watching the other kids play and was all over playing right along. She even climbed into a box that was filled with books. It was really cute... until she realized she was stuck and cried for Mommy to come get her out. :) It completely wiped her out. She was yawning and babbling all the way home. I gave her some cereal when we got home and then she went straight to sleep. She has been out for almost 2 hours now. She'll be ready to go when she wakes up!

We have our second Gingerbread Babies at the library tomorrow. That was a lot of fun last week, and we can't wait to go again!

Check back later!

We got her dress

We got Madison's Easter dress yesterday. It's super cute. I am going to try it on her for pictures this week, and will post them once I do. It's navy with white polka dots and a pink ribbon around the waist with a pink flower. It has a matching hat, but she doesn't like to keep it on. I will try, though.

She finally figured out how to get from crawling to sitting today. She has been getting so frustrated trying to do it. She only did it once tonight, but I think now that she knows she can do it, she will do it all the time.

I realized how grown up she is getting today. She was sitting on the floor, eating her sweet potato puffs and drinking water in her sippy cup. She looked like such a big girl and not my little baby. It made me a little sad. She is growing up so fast. She will be walking and talking before I know it. She already says a few words. She says Mama, Dada, hi, yeah, and da (cat). I don't know about that last one, but she always says da when she sees the cats. And earlier today she was waving at Shammy and saying "hi da." It was really cute.

Okay, well, she is asleep, but I am still holding her. Curtis just made pizza and it's making me hungry, so I am going to lay her down and find something to munch on!

What a fun and busy week!

We were supposed to go to playgroup Tuesday morning, but silly girl decided to get up about 2 hours earlier than normal and napped right through. Maybe next week... it's an Easter egg hunt, woohoo! We went to our first Gingerbread Babies at the library on Wednesday. That was loads of fun! We sang songs and danced. Madison got to play with bubbles for the first time too. That was really fun! Of course there was a story, and then all the babies got to play. She was a little reserved at first, wanting to stay close to Mommy's side, but with a little prompting joined in the fun with the other babies. She loved the dancing the best. We can't wait to go back next week. Her little tooth finally popped through last night. The poor thing was crying for an hour and a half. :( Finally with some Tylenol and a comfort nursing, she went back to sleep. She woke up from her morning nap screaming too. She was chewing on her lip like crazy and playing with it with her tongue all day. I gave her some Tylenol tonight before she even fell asleep hoping that would help get her through the night. I know it is still bothering her.

On a happier note, she pulled herself up in her playpen for the first time today. I wasn't sure she would be able to since there isn't anything at her level to grab onto. She is just that good, I guess. I already chase her all over the house, she will make me crazy once she starts walking.

I didn't mention it before, I don't think, but we started finger foods a couple of weeks ago. She has only had the Gerber banana puffs so far, but I hope to give her some Cheerios soon. She really likes the banana puffs.

She is sleeping in my lap right now. I am going to try to put her to bed and get some sleep myself.

Check back later!

Just a quickie!

I just wanted to throw in a quick update, since I haven't in awhile. Little funny face is doing great. She loves to practice walking and walked all the way to the bedroom from the living room the other day. This of course is while she holds my hands. Duh. She has a tooth coming in for sure. I was beginning to think I was hallucinating before. But it is definitely there now. Of course, she won't show anyone, but if you are looking closely while she babbles you can get a glimpse of it. I can't believe that her birthday is coming so soon. I was counting down the weeks and it is only 19 weeks away! Yikes!

She went to her first playgroup last week, but no one else showed up except the host. :( We are going to try again tomorrow morning. Hopefully she can meet some more babies then. We are also going to Gingerbread Story Time at the library on Wednesday. It's her first time going there. It should be fun... she loves other babies! She had lots of fun at her playgroup even though there was only one other little boy there for her to play with.

Madison says "Thanks for the comment Aunt Susan! I'm glad you like the site!" :)

Check back later!
