walking?
Woah... I know I just posted, but I had to mention this. I just went to rescue her from crawling over to the door. I picked her up and stood her up on the floor like I always do, and she started taking steps! I've been able to force her to take steps before, but she has never done it on her own! That's crazy! Of course, she doesn't have enough balance to even remotely do it by herself, but I still thought it was pretty cool that she was doing it holding my hands. She still doesn't even crawl properly yet. :) Kimberly |
Squash!
We did squash last night. She seemed to like it. She gobbled down 1/2 a jar and then ate 1/2 a jar of peas. It didn't smell so great, though. I don't even know what squash tastes like... my 6 month old daughter is a more adventurous eater than I am, lol. Sunday night she was so cute after she finished eating. I wiped her high chair tray down with a wet paper towel and set it on the tray while I went to grab a cloth to wipe her face with. When I turned around, she was wiping her own hands with the paper towel. I cracked up, she looked so cute. Then when she was all done and I was about to take her out of the chair, Veronica brought a grimy old dog toy and dropped it in her lap. I guess Veronica decided that Kimberly |
