Doctor's visit

We had a doctor appointment this morning, including shots. Believe it or not, Madison is playing happily next to me on the floor. Last time she had shots, she was a grumpy butt all day! She weighed 13 lbs 14 oz, was 24.5 inches long, and head was 15 5/8 inches. She hasn't gained as much as I expected, but she has gotten taller! Everything looked good, says the doc!

Madison sat up all by herself last night for more than a minute! Up until now, she hadn't held it for more than a few seconds at a time unless she was leaning on something. When she did finally fall, it was because she was going after a toy on the floor she wanted. I was afraid to go around and get a picture of her sitting. I didn't want her to fall and hit her head... she falls pretty hard sometimes. So maybe I will get Curtis to stay on the ready to catch her if she starts to fall later so I can snap some pictures.

I don't think she will read this, but if she does... Congratulations Carrie! She had her little baby boy this morning, and I can't wait to go see them!

Thanksgiving

Madison had a great Thanksgiving! She says thanks Granny for making all the yummy food for Mommy to eat!

She is trying really hard to crawl. It's so cute. She pushes all the way up off of her tummy, but can't get the knees coordinated yet. If you hold her at her waist, though, she will crawl. So she knows what to do, she just isn't quite strong enough yet.

Well, we need to get off to Kohl's to purchase Madison a Christmas present! Talk to everyone later!

Ready for Thanksgiving

Tomorrow is Madison's first Thanksgiving! Of course, she won't really experience it this year, since she can't eat anything. But she'll be there nonetheless.

I have been working on digital scrapbooking, which is pretty fun. No way would I do traditional scrapping... too messy! I have enough clutter as it is. So instead I just do it on the computer and order prints online.

Sunday we had pictures taken at Sears with Audrey. They were both so good for them!

**eta: I can’t find the pictures on my hard drive… sorry!

Yesterday we went to her first movie with Aunt Kelli. We went to the Reel Mom's show in Indianapolis to see Bridget Jone's Diary: The Edge of Reason. It was a funny movie, and it was great that I didn't have to worry about her crying (which she did!)

I'll get back to this some other time! Til then...

Oops, it has been nearly a month!

Yikes, I'm not doing so well at remembering to update this. Madison will be 4 months on Thursday! I can't believe it! Back to her pictures at Sears... when we went to pick them up on the 4th, they needed a model for a new photographer to train on, and we got some really cute diaper shots taken of Madison. They gave us a free 10x13, and I ordered a few. I couldn't order as many as I would have liked, because I am too poor, lol. They came out better than the ones we actually planned for, so that kinda sucked. Oh well. What can you do right?

That's one of them. We pick the few we are getting up on Thursday and I can't wait to see them.

Madison is rolling all over the place now. If I turn my back for a second, she will roll off of the blanket we have down on the floor for her. She still prefers her tummy to anything, though. I think she's getting hungry, so I better stop typing on here and feed her! I promise that it won't be another month before I post again!
